Saint-Paul de Reilhac | A7 III and 24-70 F4

This 12th century Romanesque church stands in the hamlet of Reilhac, in the north of the Dordogne department. We were driving home from visiting friends on holiday, about 10 minutes ahead of a huge downpour when we passed this scene.

Beautiful Fred! Where is this? I'm assuming Italy! Looks like Italian or Latin in the book/bible. I think I see the padded kneeling rests in the pews so that and given how ornate the church is, it is Catholic. Nice work! TFS!
Regards,
Kelly

St. Katharina, Graun, Reschensee, Südtirol. Driving home from our vacation in Northern Italy, our friends parked here, told me grab my camera and they gave me only a few minutes to take a few snaps. I had no idea what I was looking at! I had to stare at it for a moment and digest this. It was eire! Very alien looking. It looked very much like this capture. It was early morning maybe about 7 a.m. I wanted to spend more time taking photos but our friends wanted to get going -- trying to avoid heavy traffic. Other photos from my holiday I'm posting here: Sudtirol, Dolomites, Northern Italy

Doc, I like it, like it a lot. Three cheers for spontaneity, and the good eye 👀
Joe

I like all these church photos. In America 100 years old is considered old. Great to see real old ones
