Taken yesterday in Jałówka on Bielarussian border. This church existed only 25 years. Build between 1915-1919 and consecrated in 1919. Then destroyed probably by Russians in 1944. Never restored what is big mystery for me as Catholics have built new church somewhen in 60 ties or 70 ties of XX century and this new church is simply ugly.

Great shot. The misty sky isolates this subject very well too. Good composition with all the people in line. Wonder if they all fit in. TFS Jack .

A99ii + 24-70 ZA SSM

The local 'White church' (Het Witte Kerkje), decorated with an art work called 'Shining Star' (by collective group "CAKtwo")
The star (with changing colours) was to replace the candles normally put in the church on World Lights Day (2nd Sunday in December) to remember children that have died and are now stars in heaven.

Nice shot and conversion. I see you're building your E-mount lens collection, irresistable ain't it
