A shame I didn't make this cities-entry before

Let start it of with a picture of the very center of Amsterdam . .

I really like the processing of that shot Domien, brings out the late afternoon light very well. I only think the shot need to be turned a fraction CCW, I think it's leaning a bit now.

Also, you might want to add an introduction to your post since it fits very well in this series

Another shot combining all the things Amsterdam is known for: night, cars, bikes, boots, canals, bridges, old buildings, packed in a too busy shot

Great shot of 'Venice' Domien.

but in the other shot I miss at least one other thing that A'dam is famous for (those red traffic lights don't count imo).

Some oldies, posted a long time ago in different threads.
I'll see if I can find some newer ones as well.

Bij ons in de Jordaan

Typical risk for wrong parking in Amsterdam

When that happens you're in Hotel de Aap or as they say "In de aap gelogeerd"

Great picture, JAGIL. Feels almost 19th century (why people think that sepia is the color for old pictures beats me...) - just the right contrast and lack modern features. TFS!

This is the only picture of Amsterdam I've on-line at the moment - not great but typical Amsterdam:

Yes, typical Amsterdam Addy.

This is the same tower from another direction (I think)

Indeed Pieter, it is the Westertoren.
Less 19th century JAGIL, clearly 20th/21st bikes there - but your pp still works
