Steve, nice night shot of Alexanderplatz. What was the festival? I think Berlin, the eastern part in particular, can have a really nice party vibe when there are things going on in town...

They have sort of celebrated the Hindu (I think) festival of lights for about 3 or 4 years now. Several key buildings get lit up with various colours (often changing/pulsating)right around the city. Here's another one of the TV tower at Alexanderplatz from different side.

great shots William. Love the deserted Potsdammer Platz. It looks really eerie with no one about, and the great angle you took on it. What was lens use?

As for Sony Centre... do they do that roof in a-mount

Actually, there are people in the picture at Potzdamer Platz, but the 12mm setting of the Sigma 12 - 24mm lens makes them small

No, no, the roof is not a lens, it's an umbrella reflector for Sony's new line of studio strobes...

As final picture gives away... the helicopter is an exhibit and not actually part of a dramatic rescue in action.
