Continuing on my recent posts from my travels through the Balkans, then Naples and the Aeolian Islands (some in Open Views, others here in "Show Us Cities ..."), here are some photos taken in Erice in Sicily, a walled medieval town perched on top of a 750 metre high mountain overlooking Trapani and the coast. Originally founded by the Greeks, sacked by the Carthaginians, then over time held by the Romans, Moors, and the Normans, Spanish and French.
Famous for its sweet delicacies, nougats, and ceramic artwork.

All a99 and CZ 24-70mm Vario-Sonar ZA. EXIF embedded. C&C welcome.
