love the street scenes which capture Saigon/ho-chi-minh-city life in action, and I particularly liked the stair case shot as a stand alone piece of art.

thank you Steve.
actually I do much more what may qualify as "street photography" and little architecture. But then again imo which city a "street photo" had been taken is of big interest and importance and therefore "show the city" could include a lot of street photography too.

I enjoy your images, mostly street shoots with Pentax from this beautiful country. It is so rare that I see images from Vietnam. Thank you.

thank you very much Svetlana, very happy to know that you enjoy some of my photos and I am very grateful that you let me know it.

two more recent photos from Saigon

NEX5N + G.Zuiko Auto-S 40mm f1.4, f1.4, 1/50 sec, ISO3200

NEX5N + G.Zuiko Auto-W 25mm f2.8, f=?, 1/640sec, ISO100

Svetlana I guess that you have viewed not only photos from Saigon. Let me therefore point out to anyone interested that my flickr stream also shows quite a few photos from Hanoi and a few places more around the country. Vietnamese photographers are very active, searching e.g. flickr one can see many great photos from photogenic Vietnam.

Svetlana may I ask why you prefer those taken with the Pentax? Better "subjects" asf. or do you prefer the IQ, e.g. colors?

thank you and best greetings,
kuuan

I don't care about IQ and such things too much. I think that accidentally the subjects worked better for me. TFS

Great to see life in this place Andreas, it is quite different from what we see here - especially those men behind the lathes with just open shoes standing in the chips (hope that is the right word ..). Would like to see more
