This brings back memories. Back in the 70's I spent 4 months in India. Mumbai/Bombay was interesting, but only a 2 day stop-over on my way to Goa.
That train station is a world onto itself.

All taken in March 2008, using a100 and CZ 16-80mm Vario-Sonar.

1. The communal Dhobi Ghats laundry - as amazing in its logistics as the famous Tiffen-box lunch service in its ability to take, wash, dry, iron, and return items from thousands of clients and track them through the process, with most of the operatives illiterate and using coded symbols for ID.

2. More of the same - the troughs.
