Lovely shot of this (by now) familiar view from your balcony, enhanced by the wake of the motor boat and the sunlight on the waves it left behind.
As for New York, New York, I'm confident it's there for ever, perhaps socially more distant for a while, but hopefully back to normal once the vaccine has been rolled out. |

Talking about NYC. This place before pandemic was boiling pot of culture events of any kind.
I'd like to remain you one of them which had a place in 2005 occupying entire Central Park and called "The Gates". I'm posting a few pics taken at that time. For the first time in ten months, we went for a short walk in New York with my grandchildren. Nothing very interesting. The complete lack of people is striking, especially where there used to be crowds before.
All photos from Sony A99II and Tamron 15-30/2.8. The second camera was the Minolta Maxxum 9 with Kodak Ektachrome and Minolta 28-70G (we will see what will come out a bit later). #1 View from Pier 15  #2 Governors Island Ferry Terminal. The renovation is ongoing.  #3 Staten Island Ferry Terminal  #4 The Immigrants  #5 Battery Park  #6 Castle Clinton. There is no one in the photo! In the middle of the day!  #7 Jersey City from Battery Park  #8 Irish Hunger Memorial  #9 Temple on the background of skyscrapers.
