Some photos from Governors Island. A less known part of New York.

#1 Nolan Park. The park is a remnant of the 19th century, lined by charming yellow houses that were once home to military officers.

#2 Nolan Park

#3 Nolan Park

#4 Commanding officer's quarters

#5 Collective Governors Island - A New York City Retreat. Glamping!!!

#6 These tents remind me of 'Out of Africa' ($600 per night;)

#7 A row of plane trees in Colonel's Row.

#8 And some must-see views. Sky by Luminar. Sorry, this real sky was very boring today;)

#9

Great set! I think #3 and #7 are my favorites.

It's definitely a place worth visiting! Thank you for showing it to us!

Thank you. I definitely encourage you to visit this place. Personally, I prefer a trip here over crowded Central Park.

It's a great place; I was going to say "shhh don't tell anyone" so it doesn't get crowded, but since there are development plans (casino, school, apartments) let's all go!

Harald a great trip for a Dyxum meetup if we get European Dyxumers over here with Mariusz, after air travel resumes.
