Well, thanks David. Very well executed shots of a known scene (from other posts). Great sharpness. The first is awesome with the reflection and beautiful sun behind this cluster of clouds. The others are also very good, minor point is that #4 and 6 are a bit dark for my taste. Thanks for posting these

Sharing some shots from a short walkabout in one of Singapore's oldest New Town ~ Queenstown. Most of the flats in Queenstown have been torn down and have been replaced by modern looking, 40 storeys high new flats. Here are some shots from the heartland ~
#1 Time to go... Queenstown Cinema  ... this was one of the first entertainment centre in the 1990s. there were 2 cinemas and a bowling alley integrated in this building... it has been vacated for many years and now, its time to go... finally #2 Mass Rapid Transit ~ Queenstown Station  #3 Blk 181 ~ Stirling Road  #4 Spare tire  #5 Rest & Relax  i used to grow up in one of these older flats. on the void decks of these flats, once can find stone/cement tables like this where chinese chess boards or checkers boards are made up with mosaics tiles. these are made to last... however, in the new generation of flats, one can no longer find such tables... #6 Looking up  #7 View from Level 12  ... i can still remember the 7-eleven store, the coffee shop and old-school provision shops that used to be on the ground floor of the flat that previously stood tall on the grass patch... soon, a new condominium will take its place... the old residents are now relocated to the 40-storey flats further down the road #8 On my way down (the stairs)  cheers & take care! david |

Visiting one of Singapore's oldest temple. Built in 1902, it now seat among the public housing in Singapore along the Pan Island Expressway in Toa Payoh town.
