Photos taken a few years back when visiting the south of France. This third set from St Tropez which, when I first visited it in 1976, was still a coastal fishing village becoming increasingly popular as holiday destination having been made famous by Brigitte Bardot. This time around in 2007, the harbour was jammed full with huge ocean going luxury yachts and craft, and all the seafront crowded with beautiful people seeing and being seen enjoying life's luxuries. Nevertheless, the original bits, the winding lanes, the pastel earth-coloured buildings, and the small boat harbour that the big craft could not enter, retained their charm.
All taken with a100, Sony 18-70mm kit lens, Sony 50mm f1.4, or Minolta 100-400mm APO zoom.

Except for #3, 9 and 10, all others show brilliantly the mood of a place I really wish to see. TFS.
