I was born and bred in The Hague: I'm a true 'Hagenees'. I no longer live there but I still work there. I like to take photos in The Hague because I know the place so well; so for challenges and DPCs I often visit my 'hometown'.

This is a photo of a building designed by Berlage, a famous Dutch architect, in the twenties for an insurance company.
The photo is a stitch of 18 portrait shots, probably with A900 and Minolta 28/2.

Nederlanden van 1845, Berlage, Groenhovenstraat, The Hague

In 1993 I was living in The Hague and had a 9000 as well. If only dyxum had existed then, we could have had a Dyxum meet, Rene!
Nice shot of the Buitenhof. Is that a photo of your print? Looks very good!

BTW: do you remember in which shop you bought your 9000? Maybe we bought it in the same shop ....

Yes its a photo of the 20 years old print(and lightroom4 for a litle contrast and dust work).

I bought it behind the Bijenkorf, i'm not sure but think it was called fotomaat(?)ther was a beautiful expo-centre(of the same owner) next to it. They had a lot of secondehand lenses and cameras.
And a lot of knowhow!

Ah, Fotomaatje. that was a nice little shop.
I bought some gear there but not my 9000. I sold my Pentax MX there. No eBay in those days.

Edit: no, Fotomaatje was in Scheveningen. That shop behind the Bijenkorf had a different name that I can't recall atm. But yes, great shop!

Edit: I remember : Foto Uniek!

A bit like my first photo here, this is the Dalton Scholengemeenschap, designed by Co Brandes; Aronskelkweg, The Hague. It's another pano.
We used to live quite close to this school. And for the Dutch: Koot and Bie were pupils here.

A100, Minolta 17-35/3.5 @ 17mm; 16 portrait shots
