In the recent warm weather I found a bat in a most unusual location....




Yes, hanging off a dripping tap having a nice cold shower!



Nature finds a way (the bat was fine btw)

That is, indeed, a rather special image and something my wife would have loved to have seen 'in the flesh' as well.

Great capture and one wonders of this is a common location for it?

Thanks for the comments everyone, the location was a friends utility room where the boiler and washing machine are running quite regularly which didn't seem to phase the bat at all. The exterior door is left open to allow swallows which return every year to nest in the roof timbers above so the bat had easy access and returned over several days to the same spot.
