I'm pretty sure I've seen something along these lines before, but in these challenging times, it's worth reviving:

Stay isolated, stay alive.
Otherwise when you die your partner will sell your photo gear for what you told her/him you paid for it!!

I've not looked at the 2nd hand a-mount market for a while. I wonder how it is going....? I've got a used A99 that really isn't being used much at all at the moment.

The second hand A-mount market is much as it has been. Except even more returns from people expecting them to directly fit E-mount Alpha cameras. Patience is rewarding for buying and selling A-mount. Other systems have much less variation.

I don't recommend selling A-mount items at auction. I had over a dozen people watching my crossed-X 24mm F2.8, so I thought I'd try an auction. It ended at half it's value. And the MD 24mm F2.8 with the same glass sells for multiple times more.

Good advise. Now is the time to seek out those deals! Just clean them well before you touch them.

I have had my factory refurbished SAL70200G SSM worldwide sale on eBay listed for several months at a keen price (made keener by the depreciation of the AU$), and have seemingly 'sold' it no less than 3 times only to have those buyers back out when they realised it's not e-mount. Despite the photos and description being crystal clear on that point.

So, still listed, and remaining patient.....

Only more so now. Stuff is selling poorly because most of us who still use A-mount already have what we need.
