I could take my first shot in 1h 54mins time
But I'm gonna wait until 'sometime' after coffee tomorrow actual

Yes, slow reveal. But I reckon by about day 4 it will be obvious...

Yeah it's quite a surprise. I really bought it for the wide angle aspect, but really impressed with how close this can get. Was thinking this might have needed an extension tube but this is straight from the lens.

Am now wondering if @LAbernethy item is just one of those oranges ... or the plate?
(edit - or all three items together)

A strong start from everyone.

@gregja - my first guess = an external hard-drive

@onsplekkie - gosh, I can't even start guessing what that is, too neat to be welding!

(this guessing game is fun, note to self: keep next version's topic secret!)

Nice start guys.

Looked at the weather forecast for this week and almost decided to go for an indoor subject. While I intend to shoot daily, I did take the precaution of getting enough shots today as it's a two mile walk to my subject - four miles in the rain is not much fun. With a bit of luck the last couple of shots could include some snow.

Yes, I took multiple photos today; not enough for the entire week - and I'm indoors with mine. And like others the sequence will be a progressive reveal, probably apparent in a day or two.

And no, it's not leftover stilton from Christmas ...

Participants! Letĺs try pic-a-day! (No banking)

It is not meant to be easy!

Domestic pressure crushed my creativity to nothing more than a lot of dust-busting and an unusual crop today. I challenge myself to be more creative!

I'm certainly shooting one a day - it's 7 days of indoor shots for me.
I'll also delete everything except 7 shots this week as I'm aiming for 'just one' per day.

But will be posting them from Wed onwards, partly because today's (done) and tomorrow's shot are a pair of similar images that I'm gonna post at the same time. Might make sense when seen.

Orange. Probably more than one my wife already ate one of my subjects. I had a similar issue last time when I did an egg, with breakage.
