Flag throwing practice

A7Rii + Mir 1B 37/2.8 (M42)

In one of the local parks we have a flag throwing club. Here a member tries to hit a bar at ~6,5 meter high and then catch the flag/flagpole without touching the ground first. He was successful for about half of his throws
Pls. all vote for the April Foolishness exhibition here All members can vote!!!

Inside out barrel. 'adapted' the sigma 28 wide angle by adding the reversed first element and tube of a silver minolta 75-300 lens in front.

I am starting to stay behind... Day 17 photo was taken on Day 16. But since I committed for 3/week and so far did pic-a-day, I think I am still ok...

This is one of many solar fields we have around here - 70% of the energy used in my area is from renewable energy sources, mainly sun. Actually, we produce more than 100% of the usage, but some of the energy is transported to norther parts.
It is nice and sounds very ecological, but still there is an ecological cost - many huge scars in the desert, with all the effect on the local animal population. I guess nothing is free...
