I would have like to see your Day 11 Brian, but no problem; we will all miss Days. See you on Day 16!

I'm not sure I can commit to this challenge this year, but yesterday I was out and about and took this with the Samyang 14mm f/2.8, not realising it was Day 14 :)

DAY 15

Another rather grey winter day today, but I still ventured out of home door to find some photo opportunities, this time towards east and Uutela in Vuosaari. Unlike yesterday, no interesting subjects for telephoto pictures, so I entirely concentrated on taking photos with the designated equipment for today: α99 + LAOWA 15 mm f/4 Macro. I didn't really venture into 1:1 macro photos today, but here some examples of pictures with less magnification:

1.

α99 + LAOWA 15/4 Macro @ 15 mm, f/8?, 1/60 s, ISO 250

2.

α99 + LAOWA 15/4 Macro @ 15 mm, f/8?, 1/60 s, ISO 640

3.

α99 + LAOWA 15/4 Macro @ 15 mm, f/?, 1/60 s, ISO 640

4.

α99 + LAOWA 15/4 Macro @ 15 mm, f/5.6?, 1/60 s, ISO 400

The last picture I have cropped from the bottom to get better composition.

Let's see if tomorrow I will have some time to use either of my two CZ 16-35s @ 16 mm.

I forgot to subscribe to the thread, but now I'm caught up ...
Day 16 !
It's the Dr Martin Luther King Jr holiday here in the States, maybe some parade pics.
Nice sample shots from the new lenses, CV 10mm and Laowa 15mm!!
Oh great, more lenses for me to want ... why do I torture myself??!! LOL

Managed day 16 this morning with the 16-35 CZ but could not wait for sunrise due to an early appointment.... Missed out on some very glorious reds. Can't win them all. Perhaps I can find the time for some Fish-eye fun with Zenitar 16 and rear mounted 10 stop filter. I'll have to find me a 13 stop version of that as 10 is not enough on a clear day and I tried stacking 10+3 but this messes with the optical design. Edit: Due to a lack of preparation I found the ND3 in stead of the ND10 in the camera bag, so no fishy long exposure today!

DAY 16

Day 16 is my first day, and already I have learnt an important lesson. When using a zoom so that only an "end" is eligible, ensure it doesn't turn between shots, even a little bit. I went out on a dull, drizzly day to find a few 16mm with my CZ16-80 on the a77. When I got back and opened them up in Elements Organiser and checked the metadata most of them were at 20mm and had to be eliminated. Won't be making that mistake again (he said hopefully).

Passed this old fellow on the way to the temporary library:

Sony a77 | CZ16-80 at 16mm | f8 | 1/60

While the original library is being refurbished the temp is housed in the county museum, where this weaver is frozen in time:

Ok, rather dull gray skies today too and since this was a work day, eventually got into trying to take some pictures with α99 + Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 2,8/16-35 ZA only in the evening after sun had already setted. After good number of attempts (and previewing the latest batch on computer now and then), this is probably the best shot taken at 16 mm by me today:

α99 + CZ 2,8/16-35 @ 16 mm, f/2.8, 1/6 s, ISO 3200

And yes, it is just the view from my home window.
