2017 was a swiss cheese of days missed for me. My 2018 new year resolve is to make every Prime Day count!

I love Day Prime and the associated lense hoarding but Pic-a-Day pressure got to me last year. This year I will stick with Meyer (and Meyer hoarding) and take it easy.

Day Prime 2018 is up!

And no more pic-a-day pressure!

This year we are organising Day Prime on basis of weeks. Day Prime weeks run from Monday till Sunday. The focal lengths that fall in that week should be used in that week; for example: week 2 runs from Monday January 8 - Sunday January 14 and is for focal lengths from 8mm to 14mm. On what day of the week this/these FL(s) is/are used is up to you but the photos should not be made before January 8 or after January 14.

This gives you a lot more flexibility and a lot less stress! You have a whole week to use your lens(es). Of course you still can use your lens(es) on the appropriate day, but if that day doesn't suit you because of work or weather or whatever, you can make your photo on any other day of that week.
