Thanks for trying Leo. 15cm is little room indeed. In a while the A7 will become unavoidable I guess... However, for now I still have enough to learn and explore with my numerous recent acquisitions, so no need to rush into an A7 yet

Thanks Svjetlana, it was indeed an interesting place and I will go back for sure, or even organize a Dyxum meeting there (if you promise to come it will happen for sure )

Thursdays are very quiet there so I couldn't find a volunteer to break patters or liven the place up. That will be another problem solved once we go there with a bigger group

You're right on 40-9, I even took the cropping a bit further such that all window frames touching the borders are all at right angles and none parallel. The real day primers will now cringe since it's (slightly) cropped in both directions but the image has improved a lot (imo)

40-9 bis
Is this something you had in mind?

I certainly wouldn't mind 'breaking' that pattern for you.
But I can not make promises I am not certain I can keep.
As for the 40-9 that is exactly what I had in my mind. I also wanted to suggest another small change that you somehow 'got' but I thought it was too much to suggest.
I can also envision someone's head framed by that black framed window or if there is more people more heads at different windows. It can even be a Dyxum meeting group image. I think that is great idea.
There is no need to thank me now for this brilliant idea, you can thank me latter.
As for croping image in this thread you could have taken it to another thread. To every problem there is a solution.

Yes, I fully agree. However, the rules only allow cropping on one side and I already cropped the bottom.

I'm waaaaay behind on uploading...

I like the pic numbering protocol that's emerging here so I'll join the punctuated club!

Sorry I`m on to day 45 already.

First time out with this DIY project, it`s a Luminor Anastigmat 45mm 2.8 from a Yamato Pax M4. Yamato were a now defunct Japanese fixed lens RF maker from the 50`s, everything was made in house so no outsourcing for lenses. After cannibalising the lens, I`ve temporarily mounted it on a RAF cameras contax RF block which fits nicely inside my M52 helicoid adapter. Fiddly but works reasonably well (it did try to fall out once or twice) `til I come up with something better.

45.1-bubble attempt.(poor attempt I`ll try again)

45.2- centre sharpness.

45.3-moss balls

45.4-moss bokeh

45.5-long distance stand off

45.6-red flag

45.7-oh yes i`ve got my club.

45.8-winter sport for dogs

45.9-missed again

45.10 -muddy footprints

45.11- backlit sledge run

Mostly f5.6 to f8 except bokeh shots wide open on A7ii

That's OK Chris; and we like cannibals that present unheard of lenses on Day Prime! Very decent lens!
