Another Sunday and another virtual film roll to upload from the Day Prime week - which really all happened this weekend

First off the annual excursion of my Yashica 42-75mm f3.5-4.5 on a7

42.1 Calico Mountains Palette on the West side

42.2 Looking towards the east across the southern toes of the Calicos

Next another zoom curio of a decidedly lesser breed: Osawa's MC Macro 24-43mm f3.5-4.5

43.1 Calico Mountains from the northeast

43.2 Macro Mahjong - the red faced player must be losing?

My own red-faced admission: it took me four years before I figured out how to unlock this odd optical duckling's macro range!

Thanks Fred! BTW: Day Prime Week 50 is about to begin, looking forward to your contributions.

I know, I know. Today a grey and wet day, but forecast for the rest of the week is better.
Fortunately your last set here is for the previous week. Otherwise it would put the bar almost discouring high for this week 50

HK50.1 Mealtime

α99 + Sony 50/1.4 @ 50 mm, f/1.4, 1/60 s, ISO 200

And if anybody wonders what is that on the plate: cubed bacon, fried left-over root vegetables (rutabaga, potato and colourful carrots - including some purple carrots, which have coloured most of the lighter coloured veggies too).

I'll be spending days 53, 59 and 65 in planes and airports, with minimal prime opportunities in between ... so I'd better shoot what I can before the travel madness takes over!

50.1 Air valves

50.2 Scientific salad spinner

50.3 Bones

a450, a500, a65, a7, 700si & other 35 mm bodies, Sig 15-30, sam 30 2.8 macro, Pentax 40 2.8 pan, Sig 70 f2.8 macro, Vivi 90 f2.8 macro, Mino 100-400 apo, 300 f4, 500 f8, 600 f4

I went to Köln to meet Bob and took two lenses for this week's prime challenge and came back with three (and used all three )
Here's the hopefully growing thread with the pictures from there but obviously some of the shots belong here (and in the Meyer thread) as well

Here's the first installment:

50-1: Conga line and a rusty dancer

50-2: Overlooking the Rhine and the Köln skyline

50-3: Walking on the bridge during twilight

All A7 + M-Summicron 50/2 DR
You can see the April Foolishness 2022 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum
