And here's a glamour shot of the CZJ Biotar 2/25:

Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/25 on NEX-6

This Biotar 2/25 is a cine lens with an uncommon M28 screw mount. I don't know what movie camera (maybe Russian) it was used on. Coverage is somewhere in between APS-C and FF. The lens has no helicoid; the 'handlebars" are for the aperture. I 'push-fitted' the lens in a M39 > E-mount helicoid adapter.

photo made with a7 and Sony Carl Zeiss 24mm F2 ZA SSM Distagon

28, 29, 30 and 32 to be performed, a daunting task.

Cold, windy in New Jersey

"Morris Canal statue - Jersey City, NJ; sculpted by William Dean Kilpatrick to honor the Morris Canal; it depicts a captain guiding his flat-bottom boat with one hand on the helm, while the other hand steadies two passengers who represent a slave family escaping into New Jersey via the Underground Railroad; conceived in 1822, the 102 mile long canal crossed the state from the Hudson River to the Delaware River; the canal was in use until 1924"

Since this afternoon Helsinki has been getting more snow, but I braved the elements and took few Day 28 shots in my neighbourhood.

29.1: Spiraling towards the Light

Camera Model: ILCE-7
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Orestegon 2,8/29
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.017 sec (1/60)
ISO: 200

Impressions of a very rusty early 1970s Citroen 2CV. I know all about them as I had two. A 2CV4 (my parents gave it to me when they replaced it) that could do a whopping 100 kph on a good day and 70 kph against strong head-winds unless I was drafting behind a truck. Then I had a 2CV6 (that I got from my brother for a good price) that could actually be used for speeding on the motorway. Did almost everything to keep them alive but Rust Never Sleeps and eventually had to let them go.

29.2: Rétroviseur

Camera Model: ILCE-7
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Orestegon 2,8/29
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.017 sec (1/60)
ISO: 320

29.3: Un appareil d'éclairage

Camera Model: ILCE-7
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Orestegon 2,8/29
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.017 sec (1/60)
ISO: 320

29.4: Volant directionnel

Camera Model: ILCE-7
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Orestegon 2,8/29
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.017 sec (1/60)
ISO: 320

Today was a nice and sunny day, looking at the forecast probably the only one this week.
Didn't have much time but went to a local park just before lunch to do some 28 and 29 mm duty. Hope to be able to do more later this week.

28.3: Castle Hallehof

It is only the first month of this challenge and you call it a duty already?
Anyhow nice work from you as well Pieter, with my preference for the 29 series with 29.2 and 29.3 as my favourites.
