A couple at 70mm - though my beercan is reporting 75mm at its widest. I guess this still fits into this week?

70.1 Minolta 70-210mm f4 @ 70mm (A900)
I was rather surprised to see this feature wall appear in a local cafe - some makeover!

70.2 Minolta 70-210mm f4 @ 70mm (A900)
I take a lot of pictures on this gable - I walk past it most days and use it to roughly compare/assess lenses - the beercan does pretty well.

70.2 Minolta 70-210mm f4.5-5.6 II @ 70mm (A900)
The same gable with the much maligned plastic 70-210 - better light helps, but it turns in a decent performance in the centre (shame about the corners). Definitely a little wider than the beercan though.

Edit
75.1 Minolta 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 @ 75mm (A900)
The big beercan gives much the same field of view as my beercan - can't help feeling there is something not quite right in the beercan!

Today, Monday March 18, is the start of week 12 of Day Prime 2019:

DAY     DATE             DotW     Week     Focal lengths

    78     19-3-2019     Tuesday
    79     20-3-2019     Wednesday
    80     21-3-2019     Thursday

Nothing for me this coming week, I even sold my 80-200/2.8, so can't even resort to zoom ends

But for last week I was saved by darosa and Snegren, who loaned me two great Meyer 75's while in Haarlem

The first was Leo's Meyer Görlitz Filmostar 75 mm (a projection lens w/o aperture and unknown brightness, probably around 2.8)

75.1: Golden diamond

75.2: Old bike detail

75.3: No menu

The second 75 was Paul's Meyer Görlitz Primoplan 75/1.9 which at the advice from our "Meyer coach" should only be used wide open . So all these are at f1.9

75.4: Tring, tring....

75.5: Art in a Haarlem's hofje

75.6: We can expect a lot more Meyer ~75 mm shots from the Haarlem meet for this thread

75.7: Yellow flowers

All on an A7ii

Day 80 with Meyer Diaplan (bubbly) and CZJ Tessar (swirly) should be fun.

Normally I don't do zoom ends but this week is an exception to "mask" the fact I don't have anything in the 70-76 mm arena. Next week that doesn't work anymore Maybe we should have another Dyxum meeting

70.1: The place not to be in Haarlem (prison)

A7ii + FE70-300G @ 70 mm, LR stitch of 4 handheld portrait frames)

70.2: Moonrise and windmill

A7ii + FE70-300G @ 70 mm

70.3: Bike storage entrance at the railway station

A7 + FE24-70/4 CZ
