80.2: Pretty in Pink

Date Taken: 2019-03-21 17:00:35
Camera Make: SONY
Camera Model: ILCE-7RM2
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz Diaplan 2.8/80 projection lens
Aperture:
Exposure Time: 0.008 sec (1/125)
ISO: 100

The Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 2.8/80 was made for Exakta 66 (6x6 medium format) but sold with Exakta adapter for 35 mm. Chrome over brass, very heavy and very large for its focal length. Pity the 35 mm sensor cannot reveal more of its image, because I suspect there is a lot of swirl there. I need a MF to 35 mm speed booster.

80.3: Crossed Ladders

Camera Model: ILCE-7RM2
Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena 1Q Tessar 2.8/80 T (1951, Exakta)
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.001 sec (1/1250)
ISO: 100

80.4: Blossom, slightly swirly

Camera Model: ILCE-7RM2
Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena 1Q Tessar 2.8/80 T (1951, Exakta)
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.003 sec (1/320)
ISO: 100

80.4: Magnolia

Camera Model: ILCE-7RM2
Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena 1Q Tessar 2.8/80 T (1951, Exakta)
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.005 sec (1/200)
ISO: 100

This one really appeals to me. The orange and blue work nicely together and are supported with some nice bubbles! TFS
C & C always welcome

I would like you to reveal that swirl with MF>FF speedbooster Paul! If it works I will get one too.

Like your Ladders!

@darosa: As usual your contributions to this thread are impeccable.

Interesting concept but MF speed boosters are too expensive for an experiment.

The lens is slightly swirly under the right conditions (not as the fast Petzvals) as this one from 2015 shows:

@Fred_S: I agree with Leo that 80-4 is very good, but the whole set is very nice.
