Great chairs Leo, the funky colours are a nice bonus to the lines.

There's no way I can make my 44-4 swirl

I'll probably be on the lookout for an old 13 blade M39 version to have something inbetween the "sterile" 44-4 and the "funky-inverted" 44-2.
If I can't find that I might restore the 44-2 to original and invert the 44-4 and see how that goes.

But I did take my 44-4 to a celebration after the phase 1 restauration of the St Laurentius church in Antwerp. It's a unique neo-byzantine building from about 85 years ago. They finished most of the outside in this phase but there's still lots to do at ground level and inside.

How appropriate to spend the Sunday in church Pieter ;-), some nice shots from there.
Like you I struggle to get one swirl as well, in my case 44-2. I feel my converted 44M was better at that, so I may switch that back and adapt the 44-2 instead.

Here two more from the weekend to show the different characters

#1

#2

Probably no need to explain which one was shot with what lens

used to making lots of 'friends' that way. ;-) if you'd care to know, just holler?).
howcome you caught flare, while I saw at least 3 in the viewfinder, but they never made it to the memory card?
too shallow DOF? :-S

Back is a bit better Ine, thanks. This is a recurring problem caused by overload and poor construction (runs in the family). It will go away with 'rest'.

My 44-2 flares easily in the viewfinder and that makes it to the memory card. Can it be otherwise?

THANKS a lot, Pieter! and TY, Fred! very much appreciated!
late again... due to sudden serious health issues in my vicinity (a neighbour). + I had to sort out pics.

recurring + overload + rest sounds so familiar? even a subscription to the physiotherapist in a former life would.
(ik ben losbandig. *grin* hypermobility only sounds funny in dutch? ;-) ).
still into overload at times, but rest has been reduced to minutes nowadays. so much easier.
(although strengthening back muscles by working on the land helped a lot too. and dragging A-mount around? ;-)).
(not just homeo, getting rid of lactic acid -in muscles in case of overload-, i.e. boosting PH, works just as well. it all makes sense? ;-)).
hope your back is fine now! and you are happy again?

I don't think so. hence my Q?
-but never used an extension tube with Helios before?-

The good thing about a Saturday wedding is (was?) that on Saturday it's free (in Middelburg)! We had a poor man's wedding.

I don't believe they do that anymore!
scroll down for pricing! -sitting down 1st advisable-)

our wedding must have been poorer! (f10 voor a luxurious trouwboekje/the official booklet/not a clue how to call that. o, en huwelijkse voorwaarden, very pricey).
proposal in 1981, wedding ten years later!!!
after years of trying to save for a wedding and several bosses that -still!- owe us fortunes, etc. registered our intention to marry at the town hall in 1983 (-I think?- ondertrouw bedoel ik, after that you'll have to get married within a year) and threw a party for friends then. made my bouquet + corsages (beautiful!) from white roses I took from 'public plants', surrounding the graveyard (because my daddy was there), even took my own 'official pics' with a 5 meter remote cord. made our own 'we got married' cards. drove our own car.
all in all, very very poor.
got married in Vlissingen on a monday morning, for free!
