Last year I found a cheap Wollensak Raptar 114 mm / f5.6 enlarging lens, irreversibly mounted on some kind of M42 helicoid and a hood glued on the front. The M42 helicoid focusses from way beyond infinity until about 1 meter, so I put a few extension tubes inbetween that and the M42 to E-mount adapter and took a short training walk through our garden as preparation for using it next week for day prime week 17 (111-117 mm)

This is how this ridiculous set up looks:

A7Rii + AR Hexanon 40/1.8

1: Aquilegia from the top

2: Aquilegia from the side

3: A hint of character

4: Veiling against the light (the lens seems uncoated)

5: Carefully entering

6: Early wild azalea bud

All on an A7ii, all wide opn (f5.6 ) except #4 @ f8
