And next week looks quite busy for me too: three different focal lengths with options to use one prime + dedicated ultra wide converter, three primes and two zoom ends. Luckily all are native AF lenses... Unless nothing fatal and unexpected happens, I promise that I will at least cover all three focal lengths if not every lens.

Since I have too many primes in the base case I dropped zoom ends a few years ago, especially in the earlier period of the year. Might slip in one or two in the second half of the year when it's much more quiet from a "day prime" perspective.

Next week I have three focal length to cover with two lenses each. Don't know if I'll manage them all. Busiest week is #8 with nine nifty 50's and a 53 mm, and #6 with five 35's and two 40's is no slough either

Question for the "day primers": Historically there was a "Helios Weekend" in June and a "Pancake Weekend" in September includede in the day prime thread. How's the appetite for that this year, should we also plan that or strictly stay "day prime"? Opinions welcome .

Those weekend events are fine, but perhaps we should separate them from the main Day Prime thread.

Week 3 I didn't get to use my a-mount 18-200mm lens. Other than that I used all the relevant lenses.
Week 4 is going to be challenging, so I see what I can get. I have 2 21mm prime, 24mm prime, 2 zoom lenses with 24mm end and 25mm prime. On the other end, I have 2 sick kids at home, a lot of work to do and a trip to Tel-Aviv for some meetings. I try to get as much photos as I can...

Traditions will come and go. Participation in the day prime challenge (or any other challenge) is not overwhelming these days. It will not be a great loss to this community if these weekends are no longer planned. Naturally if they are planned I will participate.

The 16-35 tends to do that Fred, 16.1 mm FL shows up as 17. I ignore it.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade - 2 kids sick at home? Take them to the beach (clean air and good sun is always good, isn't it?). They enjoyed and I managed to start my week 4.

24.1 two sick kids...

Sony ILCE-7RM4 + Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm F2 ZA SSM (SAL24F20Z) | f/6.3 | 1/640 sec | ISO 250

24.2 one sick kid...

Sony ILCE-7RM4 + Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm F2 ZA SSM (SAL24F20Z) | f/2 | 1/6400 sec | ISO 250

24.3 no sick kid...

Sony ILCE-7RM4 + Zeiss Distagon T* 24mm F2 ZA SSM (SAL24F20Z) | f/8 | 1/2500 sec | ISO 250

Agree with Paul. I like both events though and will participate if planned (even bought a pancake for it last year )
