Day Prime Challenge has two threads. This one is for photos and comments; you can also post photos of the gear you are using; and there's a 2020 Training Centre for your out-of-challenge contributions. This challenge is for everyone! Everyone will learn something and everyone can enjoy it. If you have not joined before and do not fully understand the guidelines, do not worry. Just start posting and ask as many questions as you want. Edited by pegelli - 01 January 2020 at 15:57 |

Glad to be of service Fred, and I'm a heavy user of day prime myself as well. For these first three month I only have weeks 1, 11 and 12 off
Later it gets more quiet |

No such luck for me. 12 weeks, 32 focal lengths to cover, no time off Edit: Week 1 off, don't have anything below 10 mm. Edited by Snegren - 03 January 2020 at 10:59 |

I don't believe luck has anything to do with it Paul. GAS may be?
For me 11 weeks with 18 FL's in the first quarter. 29 FL's in total for the year, excluding TC's for 135mm and more. That would bring the total far over 30 FL's. Edited by Fred_S - 12 January 2020 at 13:59 |

Yes, GAS is the problem. I'm sort of cured now. |

For my "training" I went slightly north, to the redoubt of Schilde, for the actual 12 mm shots today (best day in the weather forecast this week) I went slightly south, to the Fort of Oelegem. Unfortunately you can't get inside the fort most days and currently it's even a no-go zone for the people who control the fort to make sure they don't disturb the thousands of hibernating bats that stay there over winter.

Yesterday I went to the indoor ski track in Zoetermeer during my lunch break. Built on the slopes of the former municipal waste dump, not a very inspiring area, but the building itself has some appeal. The sun was out, it was cold and windy. The next couple of days the weather will be problematic again.

I think the left and top of the image suffers from misalignment. I would like to have a Lensbaby Scout as optic holder as the Composer has tilt adjustment and is extremely difficult to adjust straight. But alas, no affordable Scout to be found. I think I will improvise something on M42 helicoid adapter.
