Since there was finally little snow on the ground, I made a short walk in Viikki, although the fields still looked surprisingly bare. And most likely this snow will be soon gone since the weather forecast says the temperatures are on rise and some rain is also expected...

HK40.1 Taka-Viikki

α7R III + SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 40 mm @ 40 mm, f/?, 1/100 s, ISO 160

HK40.2 Etu-Viikki

α7R III + SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 40 mm @ 40 mm, f/?, 1/100 s, ISO 160

HK35.4 Tracks on Kotipelto

α7R II + CZ 2.8/35, f/9, 1/80 s, ISO 200

PS. And the fact that I used two different cameras and two different lenses was mainly caused by my need to use telephoto (Sony FE 200-600) on α7R III and the other camera already had that 35 mm lens mounted.

Weather not so fine in my home town, bringing and end to this weeks photo activities. A music festival (with DJs, boom boom boom over the lake near our home) in tents has been cancelled for today, unsafe due to high wind speeds. No big loss.

If there is fun in anticipation, this must be fun. Next week will be mostly hobby lenses. I have the following converted lenses in stock:

Agfa Color-Apotar Paratic Lens 1: 2.8 / 42mm from Agfa Optima 200 Sensor rangefinder (square aperture, please give me sunshine)
Minolta Rokkor-PF 1:1.8 f=45mm from HIMATIC 7S
Meyer Optik S Trioplan 1:3.5/45 V for Pentina
Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Domiplan 2.8/45 for Beirette K
Konishiroku Hexanon 47/1.9 from Konica Auto S

And even a normal lens:

Minolta MD Rokkor 45 mm 1:2

Hope I can find the time and/or the get up and go to make it happen.

Wow, that's a lot for next week Paul, for me it's just one "normal" lens, the 45/2 Rokkor.

But first my next step of the 35's, this one with an old Leica rangefinder lens with a pin sharp center and very mushy corners. It works way better on film than digital sensors.

35-11: Devils in disguise

35-12: Slow day today

35-13: Conscience

35-14: Entrance to the Corolus Borromeus church in Antwerp

Doesn't look mushy to me Pieter. 35.11 is lovely!

Thanks Paul, that one indeed has a little less mush (probably a slightly smaller aperture), but look at the windows in the two top corners of 35-13 and the same in 35-14 (which is the top 2/3 of a vertical shot at full width) and you will see what I men

My last 35 mm shot, before moving on the 40 mm.

We were supposed to go walking with a group of friends in the woods around Holten in the eastern part of the Netherlands and that would have been a good opportunity for my last 35 mm lens. Unfortunately the walk was cancelled due to high winds so it's another inside despiration shot of my eternal subject the amaryllis.

35-15: Amaryllis

A7ii + Helios 35/2.8 (M42) + extension tube, Helicon focus stack of 7 images to get the pistel and stamen sharp, but kept the main petals and flower slightly oof on purpose

Now on to PP the 40 mm shots, still two lenses to go of that length.

Let me post my attempts for this year's DayPrime week 6, too

I made use of my two M-mount 35mm lenses during a night stroll on Saturday evening through the Kunstareal, Munich's gallery and museum quarter located at Maxvorstadt (a central borough of Munich).
First the snapshots around 'Pinakothek der Moderne' (Pinakothek of the Modern) with the Summicron-M 35:

35.1 - "Arrival"

a7 + Leica Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH

35.2 - "Futuro House"

a7 + Leica Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH

35.3 - "Glass & Concrete"

a7 + Leica Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH

35.4 - "Pinakothek of the Modern"

a7 + Leica Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH
