I have an old Sig 170-500 A mount so here are a couple of shots taken with that, although the exif shows 180 - not sure why !
Nothing v exciting, been restricted by weather, lack of inspiration & opportunity this week - will be back in a couple or so weeks for the 200 - 210 range.
All these taken with the A57
#1 The Old Tree
170 Small_2 by qwerkypics, on Flickr
#2 In the grip of Ivy
170 Small by qwerkypics, on Flickr
Some relief that others are suffering too (except Leo of course )
but hope you enjoy
All the best
Richard T
So many wines, so little time......

I'll do my best Michael!
It's a bit lonely so I'm happy to see Richard's surprise contribution.

My Day 170 was spent in search of (modern) art:

1 Land Art Delft, 1945-2020

2 Land Art Delft, 1945-2020

3 Merapi Doll, Tamaar Tóth Varjú

4 Frame for Vermeer (detail), Toshitaka Nishizawa

5 Head

6 The Dutch human form

all with a7rii + Minolta V Lens 56-170mm 1:4.5(32)-5.6 @170mm

I adapted this lens to M42 and by removing the unnecessary electronics and other stuff made it FF and manual focus. The FFD of 36mm makes is possible to use a M42 helicoid adapter to Sony E-mount and get a macro MFD. A fun 170mm!

Oops, thanks for reminding me Michael and Leo, I forgot to announce the new week. I'm probably too busy helping our daughter build a new deck behind her house with little time for photography and Dyxum

But since yesterday it's week # 26 for focal length from 174 until 180 mm.

I've been waiting to join again for three weeks and hope to be able to go out and have at least one go with my big and heavy A-mount Sigma Telemacro 180/3.5

I'll join with (Exakta) Telemegor 5.5/180mm too this week.
Great start from Leo and Michael with this lens and nice to see two completely different styles with the same lens.

I'll promise that I'll post few shots taken with Tamron 70-180 F2.8 @ 180 mm earlier this week later since currently I am 1) at mercy of mobile data 2) not necessarily booting up the laptop every day in the next few days.

Of course, I am ashamed to use only a zoom end, but my other option for Day 180 (A-mount Tamron 180/3.5 macro) is not here and also I'm seriously considering to sell it since it gets no use nowadays (apart possibly Day Prime Challenge where I might end up cursing the slow AF...).

A few for Day 180. Busier than expected these days, so just a few snapshots in and around the house. Maybe a little walk tomorrow.

Telemegor 5.5/180mm (Exakta) on A99ii (#2 and 3 with tubes)

180-1 Fresh harvest (from father in law's garden)

180-2 Would we (finally) get our own olives this year??

180-3 Geranium sanguineum (Bloedooievaarsbek)
