Red light and romance?
And a coal mine doesn't sound too romantic too BTW

Had some days off this week which was nice , unfortunately the weather wasn`t and I only have one zoom end, one of these lenses that comes in a job lot when you`re buying something you want but not this. Turns out ok, flares pretty wildly at times but tameable.

I have about a dozen zoom ends, so I'm not going there! Here is my only prime for the week.

Canalside businesses.

70.1 The Slug & Lettuce - reopening soon?

70.2 Ask - gone for good.

I was hoping to do more for this week, but other activities had to be prioritised and bad weather after that didn't help either.

My 70.1 shot got explored on Flickr. I had never expected that, I felt it was just a mediocre shot at best.

Here a few desperate shots with same combo to clear my consience for this week

FS-70.2

FS-70.3

FS-70.4

No prime worries Pieter, another busy week:

Meyer Primoplan 1.9/75mm (Exakta)
CZJ Biotar 1.5/7,5cm (M42)
Meyer Görlitz Trioplan 1:2,8 f=7,5cm (C-mount therefore APSC)

If I can find the time:
Minolta P-Rokkor 2.5/75 (none)
Meyer Diaplan 2.8/80 (none)
CZJ Biomater 2.8/80 (Exakta)
CZJ Tessar 2.8/80 (Exakta)

I hope Leo can bring out his 7,5cm Primoplan!

Great find Paul!

Thanks Leo. With KinoPlasmat lens prices exploding, this seams a viable option to obtain affordable KinoPlasmats. By the way, the camera perished. As usual I found out how to remove the lens without massive destruction after I had cut into the camera body. No matter, the lens is now permanently connected to a c-mount adapter, rendering the camera unsuitable for display purposes anyway.

A bit later than hoped for but here are the rest of my Day 70 shots, again all on the a57 & Sig 17-70 zoom, these were taken at New Brighton during a gale, a location I have used before but got some decent shots without getting me or the camera too wet !!
#1 "The waves were all piddlin' and small" *
Day 70 small_9 by qwerkypics, on Flickr
* quote from Albert & the Lion an epic 'poem' recounted by the great Lancashire comic actor Stanley Holloway, well worth a few minutes on YouTube, I'm sure there will be something worth seeing.
#2 Oh No They're Not
Day 70 small_8BW by qwerkypics, on Flickr
#3 The Little Lighthouse
Day 70 small_6 by qwerkypics, on Flickr
The Lighthouse was built around 1829/30, so seen a few storms
#4 The Sea has no Memory
Day 70 small by qwerkypics, on Flickr
There were quite a few more on the short list but decided to keep it short !
Happy with these and looking forward to some more zoom ends this week, 75 & 80mm for me.
Enjoying everyones posts, keep 'em coming ..
All the best
Richard

Two 75's (or three in fact with the double 75mm Trioplan lens on the Reflekta and a USSR Triplet 2.8/75mm projection lens) and a Diaplan 2.8/80mm (Pentacon version). I hope to do better than last week, where I only used one out of four options.
