Up to the next level. How to get a 30 seconds daylight exposure from a fisheye? By the way, cleaning the sensor before doing this saves much time!

This week I have to cover 3 different focal length, 12, 16 and 17 mm
For my first session (with all 3 lenses) I went to the Mastenbos in Kapellen. I nice wood area that also holds the remains of the Nazi "Northabschnitt", a trench and bunkerline in the North of Belgium to defend in case the Allied invasion would land to the north in the Netherlands, of which we now know never happened. peg 12-1: Machinegun bunker entrance ![]() peg 12-2: Eroded trenches ![]() peg 12-3: Looking at the "1st line" (7,11 x 3 "crop-o-rama") ![]() (the bumps you see between the trees are bunkers, now places where bats can hibernate during winter) peg 12-4: Small pond ![]() All A7Rii + Voigtländer Ultra Wide Heliar 12/5.6 Other lenses to follow later |

My 16 mm contribution. The first three from the same walk through the Mastenbos as above, the last two from a walk through our neighbourhood a day later.
peg 16-1: Inside a gun bunker (the gun is gone, the plate on which is was mounted is still there ![]() peg 16-2: "close up" of the gun mount ![]() peg 16-3: Same bunker from the outside, the hole through which the gun barrel pointed out ![]() peg 16-4: A ball of lumber ![]() peg 16-5: A concrete ship cutting through a sea of bricks ![]() ![]() 1, 2, 3: A7ii + Min 16/2.8 fisheye (#1 defished) 4, 5: A7Rii + Min 16/2.8 fisheye |

That sun flare is in exactly the right place Heikki (HK14.1), and less flare in the other two it seems, even though they all have the sun in the frame. Nice "cold" series and in line with what can be expected up north.
Fred, F-15.2 hardly looks like a fisheye shot with the horizon exactly in the middle it doesn't bend. Great light in that shot as well. |
