Thanks Fred! A lot of the magic is in that lens! Best used sparingly, but Day Prime is the perfect occasion.

To start my Day 75 I took the 3.5/75mm Trioplan view lens form the Reflekta II, which is easy to unscrew. The surgery for the main lens still has to happen.
No aperture on this one.
The afternoon was much greyer and wetter than expected, so only a few form around the house.

I wish you well Fred. I have battled with this 47 and got it to work, including aperture adjustment. And then I cleaned up my job and improved the lens mount and somehow got the aperture stuck open. Such a pity because this is very good lens. So I got another copy (very cheap), removed the lens to find the shutter failed shut. And now I have to get into the bowels of the lens to see if I can fix it....

What a fantastic turnout this week, both conventional zoom ends as well as lots of prime/view/projection lens extravagansa. More than 2 pages of eye candy, thanks to all

My 75 and 80 contributions are much more humble.

75 is the short end of the beercan, which is officially a 70-210, but the exif when used at 70 is consistsently coming back as 75 mm and also comparing similar pictures between the long end of my 24-70 and the short end of the beercan shows that the beercan has a narrower field of view than 70 mm.
For this small series I went to Fort 3 (Borsbeek) which is mainly destroyed by bombing in WW2, but on the front side the escarpment galleries are still intact, and Fort 3 is the only fort (as the first one built) from the Brialmont ring who was equiped with these. None of the later forts had them. Especially early morning at sunrise they look nice

75-1: The early sun rays hitting the brick wall

75-2: From a little further, the construction in the foreground is the middle caponniere

The above are from the right (north-east) side of the fort, but at the left side (south-west) the moat was filled which gives a totally different atmosphere

75-3: Muddy remains of the moat

LR panorama from two photos

All A7ii + LA-EA4 + Minolta 70-210 (beercan) at 75 mm (zoom end according to the exif)
