Thanks Leo, and yes the new toy (or tool) was used a lot and all handheld. But especially in high winds (which we had during our whole trip) it's difficult to keep stable but generally 1/focal lenth or 1/2xfocal length proved to give reliable and sharp results. The other thing I never realised was how much atmospheric turbulences can ruin sharpness and detail of subjects further away, but that's not a lens problem.

Here's two more crop-o-rama's at 150 mm

This week is week 25 for focal length between 171 and 177 mm, nothing from me but I hope some others can show something in that range.

Next week (june 27 - july 3) is for focal length of 178 to 184 mm, which will allow me to play with my Sigma 180 mm telemacro

It's week 26 at the moment for focal length between 178 and 184 mm.

I only have one lens for this week which is a macro, so I'm starting off with a few macro's.

180-2: Succulent echo

180-3: Visiting hoverfly

180-4: Visiting bumblebee

All A700 + Sigma 180/3.5 telemacro

I hope to have time for a few more different subjects (at larger distances) later this week.

Like Pieter, I used my 180 macro:

1 Small tortoiseshell

2 Small tortoiseshell, en profil

both with a7riv + Tamron SP AF Di LD IF 180mm 1:3.5 Macro

I hadn't used this Tamron for a long time and I was pleasantly surprised; works well with LA-EA5 too.

We're in week 27 now, July 4 - July 10: days 185 - 191.

I have a 190 projection lens but very cumbersome to use. Fortunately, 1.4 x 135 = 189 so I'm looking forward to using my STF this week.

I'll see what I can do for D|au 189, but busy times at the moment, with e few sports events finish processing and to shoot this weekend. Usually not the best place for manual lenses
