The third and last lens for this week. A quick walk through the garden after dinner.
peg 200-10: Echinacea peg 200-11: Succulent with a visitor Both Leica M246M + M-Telyt 200/4 + 18 mm extension tubes I really wanted to test this M-Telyt on a native brand camera but the M-mount is on a so called OUBIO 16466M ring which is really made to fit on a Visoflex mirror box and has a contraption sticking out that interferes with mounting it directly on a M camera body . After some thinking I mounted two M extension tubes (total 18 mm) so the part sticking out doesn't touch the camera body anymore, but this limits the focus range to about 4 meter. So for "semi-macro" it's OK but no landscapes possible. But since the lens also doesn't have a rangefinder coupling it's use on an M-body is limited anyway, these shots were both framed/focussed with an EVF-2 so I guess I'll use this lens most on my A7's (with an adapter) These are my last 200 mm shots this week, which leaves two of my 200 mm lenses unused (a Tamron and a Travenar). I think I can live with that |

Thanks Pieter! You did a better jib than me for Day 200. I got stuck on my first lens. I like your 200.1 and 200.10 in particular. |

Good wor with the Orestegors, you both make them "sing' Paul and Michael. But the long end of that 70-200 delivers fine results as well, especially 1783 and molen #3.
Since yesterday we're in week 30 for focal lengths between 206 and 212. An excellent opportunity to show some beercan long ends |

Leo, Nice series with the Minolta 200 APO, it's one of the lenses I have that will always demand something that can shoot A-mount in my household, because I'm never going to sell that lens. I find the overall rendering very pleasing, it's not only sharpness but also bokeh, colour and transitions that lead to a special combination you don't find in more modern lenses.
I'm glad you managed to shoot a "tall ship" on its way to or returning from Antwerp. I think I saw the same one moored at the cruise terminal behind the historic warehouse canopies: not a prime 200 shot, click for larger Did you manage any other shots of tall ships passing on the Westerschelde like your #3, that must have been an impressive sight and they all must have passed very close to where you live. Oops, week 31 (213 - 219 mm), 32 (220 - 226 mm) and 33 (227 - 233 mm) passed by unnoticed. Did anybody use any of these focal length in the right week, if so you can still show them here.
Today we started week 34 for 234 - 240 mm lenses. I guess we might see some Enna or Porst photo's here (240 mm) but anything in that range is fair game this week. |
