Thanks Leo, and yes the new toy (or tool) was used a lot and all handheld. But especially in high winds (which we had during our whole trip) it's difficult to keep stable but generally 1/focal lenth or 1/2xfocal length proved to give reliable and sharp results. The other thing I never realised was how much atmospheric turbulences can ruin sharpness and detail of subjects further away, but that's not a lens problem.

This week is week 25 for focal length between 171 and 177 mm, nothing from me but I hope some others can show something in that range.

Next week (june 27 - july 3) is for focal length of 178 to 184 mm, which will allow me to play with my Sigma 180 mm telemacro
