@RichardT, I really like that first one, great caption as well and more original than my first thought ("battling the wind")
![]() @mariuszlo, good idea to use that fisheye in a tubular submarine, less distracting distortion that way. Works out very well for 16-3 to 5. Also impressive shots from the aircraft carrier and the Concord. I'm moving to 21 mm now, same place as my 16 mm shots (Wijnegem locks) 21-1: Waiting until the lock chamber filled up ![]() 21-2: Door is open, the first ones move out ![]() 21-3: The biggest goes out last ![]() 21-4: The "Banana bridge", connecting the sides of Wijnegem across the King Albert canal ![]() LR panorama of 4 vertical photo's All A7ii + Voigtländer Color Skopar 21/4 |

@ Pieter, Thanks for your kind words, I might try a letter box crop of a wider view ! I like second 21 series myself, particularly 21-6, but the lock shots are an interesting documentary too.
@ Mariuszlo, fascinating tour, many thanks, I think the Captain would have been amused hearing his little cubbyhole referred to as a 'Stateroom' !! Thanks everyone RT |

Lovely, the 2nd 21 mm set Pieter. Time well spent. 21-5 and -6 are epic!
My day 22 debut (thanks to MINOLTA V LENS 22-80mm f/4-5.6 and modern AF adapters). As the 22 side of this zoom covers the FF sensor with horrible vignet it is better to use APSC. Here's finally my contribution with this week's primes, albeit just one lens so far despite that I would have few others that feature focal lengths for this weeks' challenge. And strictly speaking, I am bit pessimistic that I manage to use those tomorrow (oops! today).

Thanks for the compliment Paul, I was also blessed with good light there which helps a lot! I like all your rope stills a lot, great compositions and these photos have a nice clarity to them. It's funny that the road(s) now go around the gate, a modern time improvement that is very far from the initial intention of this building.
Heikki, I like the station shot a lot Matthew, nice WA macro's, I never think about that possibility when using the lens but looking at these I should really try to use it like that. My last installment for this week, I managed 6/6 lenses ![]() ![]() 20-4: Cleared patch ![]() 20-5: Bridge over frozen water ![]() ![]() 20-6: Frozen water without bridge ![]() 20-7: Treeline ![]() 20-8: Looking back at castle Vrieselhof against the light ![]() All A7Rii + LA-EA4 + Minolta 20/2.8 |
