Yesterday's 29 mm images were lost. I copied the images to SSD drive (at least I think I did), formatted the SD card for today and when I tried to import the images for processing they were not there. Meyer-Optik Görlitz 1Q Orestegon 2,8/29 (M42, Zebra) it is. This is a swirly lens, it must be, just look at the field curvature at the right side of the image, the backgroud almost comes into focus.

29.1: Half a guitar

29.2: Two ways up

29,3: Two ways up

29.4: Etersheimer braakmolen, Oosterhuizen

28s, two Minolta and a Zeiss

Wide Beercan 28-85 on a7c with EA4r Monster Adapter (no issues so far, (relatively) snappy AF)
28.5 decorative wind chime at a cemetery

f3.5 with "Macro" "switch", EXIF says 29mm

28.6 Grand St swing bridge bus crossing

f16, dust bunnies cloned out EDIT no I missed some!!!

C/Y Zeiss 28/2 on a7c, Grand Central Terminal
28.7 Zodiac

f2, I focused on the clock but at the side of the frame it's still "dreamy" and not quite "sharp"

28.8 Analyzing the Whispering Wall

1/6sec, geometry adjusted since I was off-angle; this is the lower level, I think I know what I want for a photo, but the crowds won't cooperate.

28.9 Orton chandeliers

2sec f16; pseudo single shot Orton effect, one second steady, then I rolled focus. You can tell I had my right hand on top, as the top didn't move much, but the bottom swung quite a bit when I rolled focus.

MDiii (49mm threads) 28/2.8 a7c, New Haven Union Station
28.10 Pink suitcase in the train tunnel

1/3sec f5.6, I exaggerated the colors but not much.

It's really going great, a large collection of excellent and diverse contributions. We're already on page 8 after 4 weeks and I know that for me at least photo's of five more lenses of last week have to be posted, they're all imported in Lightroom but no time to cull and PP yet.

And today we start week 5, focal length from 30 to 36 mm, which includes the "classic" 35 mm length, so I think we're at the start of another busy week here. For me it's five lenses, so I better start planning where to go on the days the weather and light are favorable for photography.

14 lenses, 30, 32,33 and loads of 35s. So at least 4. One must is a recent purchase, Minolta Shift CA 35MM 1:2.8 on its maiden voyage. Rare, expensive, but I wanted one. It is an illness without a cure.

All I need now is a 24 mm shift lens (Samyang doesn't break the bank?) and then I have a nice set (Laowa 17, 24, Minolta 35). But there is also the Laowa 15 mm shift. Is it worth it when you already have a 17 shift?

Is that the one where the 17 has the converter, and the 15 has native shift? In that case they are completely different and clearly you need both

Yes the 17 is the 12 mm prime with shift adapter (which is actually a 1.4x TC). I just discovered Laowa has a 20 mm shift that is much improved over the 15 mm shift. Tempting.....

I managed to get out on Sunday afternoon for a few shots, down at the Marine Lake the first two were using the A7m3 wearing an old A-mount Sigma 24/f2.8 via the LA EA5 the rest were using the Sony 28/f2 on my A6000

A couple of minutes later I heard Dad shouting "Come back, come back" !!
There was no danger!
#4 Bizarre - I was taken by this alien seabird 'strutting his stuff' with almost none of the walkers taking the slightest bit of notice !

#5 Waders working the tide

That's all for last week, hope you enjoyed (or hated) some - no great hopes of finding time for any in the 30-36 range despite having some relevant lenses - but no fear I will try !
All the best
Richard

I like the yellow and red sailing boats Richard, and the last one is nice as well. Maybe staying a bit longer there would have brought you a colourful sunset.

Since Mariusz is already working on this weeks lenses I better move on with two more 28's from last week, bot used on saturday in the sculpture garden of the Middelheim park in Antwerp.

28-10: Misconceivable, Erwin Wurm, 2010

28-11: Pegasus, Carl Milles, 1949/51 with at the base Zonnewagen, Camiel Van Breedam, 1974

Last sunday we had a gathering at Castle Groeneveld, and one photo of that outing was already posted here in this thread (# 28-9)

Here's three more from that beautiful place:

28-18: A stream through the woods

(cropped square, used the full width of a portrait oriented shot)

28-19: De ossenstal (the ox stable), a farmhouse on the castle grounds

28-20: Looking across the moat

All A7ii + Sony FE 28/2

One more set to PP and post from my only 29 mm lens.

You did very well with the 28s Pieter!

Today I got one 35 done, Minolta MC W.Rokkor-HH 1:1.8 f=35mm. 20 seconds exposure, tripod to the rescue.
