Strangely I don`t have any 28s these days, must have sold them all!
Been one of the worst weeks weather wise I`ve ever encountered. Two back to back storms, the first had gales hitting us with 70-90 mph winds and torrential, monsoon like rain most days. A few shots when possible. This is our normal walking path that has featured in a few shots before! Impressive storm damage Chris. We had the same storm pass over here but a little weaker with less damage, but still some (see 28-8)

I hope that I'm able to return Helsinki tomorrow, but I don't think I shoot anything, althought the LAOWA 25 mm F2.8 Ultra Macro 2.5-5.0X would have offered some real challenge to get great shots... |

Get well soon Heikki, much more important than participating in this challenge
Paul, nice shots of Zopetermeer (if I'm not mistaken), the derelict grafitti shot is my favourite Mariusz, nice reportage of Jersey City, here the office entrance and the sundial are my favourites. +1 !! And nice to see all the creative talent in your family Pieter! Your Banana bridge reportage is appreciated as well. It will keep you busy for a while Like Heikki, I had a bad flue the last week too. I hope Heikkie will recover more quickly than me. I haven't been out for almost a week now, but enjoy all the contributions in this thread. Since I have the advantage of having all my gear around, I just took a few shots in and around the house. I also hope you recover soon Fred, not fun being ill, especially now that the weather is quite nice. But you're using the area around the house very well, the Cooke Kinik is something special that worked very well on the glass and snowdrop. Also the bokeh of the MC 28/2.5 is very nice, as shown by the tulip shot.
I went back to the banana bridge today, given all the recent collapses they're progressing very cautiously and they didn't get much further vs. yesterday. I guess I'll be able to use the subject again for next week with my 29 and 35 mm lenses. 28-16: From the west 28-17: Working on the ramps and bridgehead for the new bridge 28-18: The new bridgehead All A7ii + Tamron 28/2.8 BBAR MULTI C, Adaptall |

Boy I like the look of Vectis lenses, too bad I missed the boat on buying a set ...
Mariusz excellent framing of the Katyn Memorial, I guess it is staying there, there was "development plans" but I guess that is not happening? Fred "dumb adapter" for the win! Pieter "nibbling" is a great title, I'm enjoing the documentation! So Northern Europe has the same "I'm sick but it's not COVID" going around? Not just the US I guess.... Speed round! No love for 24s this year?!... I have no 24 primes, but quite a few 28s, only 2 35s Minolta 24-85/3.5-4.5 RS a7ii EA4 adapter 24.1 Spanish Moss M-Rokkor 28/2.8 nex7 perfect size combination 28.8 Banyan ropes camera jpeg with veiling haze Laowa 28/1.2 nex5n - the crop sensor masks off the edges, obviously "handling" is basically holding the lens by itself LOL f1.2 makes it easy to use 1/1000 shutter speed (thumbsup) 28.9 Washing 28.10 Coin Op selective color |

A walk on the beach at Katwijk aan Zee with a modest set of lenses. The sea was pretty rough. Later that day a dog and clothes were found on the beach at Kijkduin and two swimmers were rescued from sea and taken to hospital in a coma.

I like the washing machine shots Paul (4paul), especially Coin Op works well with the very shallow dof.
Great series Paul (Segren), you made good use of your day at the beach. Photographing seems less hardous then swimming . Sea foam and Buried bicycle are my favourites. Today we start week 5, for focal length of 29 to 35 mm Again 7 lenses for me, 29, 30 and five 35's Until now I managed all my primes, I plan to keep up that score this week. The banana bridge demolition is running way behind schedule, so that will help My most dreaded week will be week 8, with 17 lenses , but I can "rest" a little in week 6 and 7 with only 3 and 1 lens(es) respectively. |

There are certain advantages to retirement Pieter! I just do not have enough time.
