I thought that it would be nice to revive memories, re-charge batteries, de-dust old bodies and ... ENJOY!

So, here it goes: KM Dynax 7D ...

Quick candid

Cornflower and ant

Grape-to-be

Spurge

Little fly

Tiny fly

All but the first were taken with "plastic fantastic" Sony 30/2.8 Macro. The portrait was taken with 35-70/4.

Great initiative, I still used my A700 today and maybe I'll dust off my KM5D for use in the weekend

I like your series, but the cornflower is a notch above the rest for me, colour, composition, sharpness is all excellent
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Ah; are those the old Minolta colours we've lost over the years of technological innovation I see before me? Well, other than the first at least!

Lovely set and I agree with Pieter - the cornflower is the pick of the set, though the rest are close behind.

Mental note: Must get my 7D out of storage and fire up the batteries!

Best regards, Neil.

Nothing wrong with the 'old stuff'!
Nice series with the cornflower on top. Who needs all the new equipment?

Who says 6 MP is not enough? You proved it certainly is. TFS Mirek, the first fly is the best for me. Btw, my son Luca is going to Praque next week and he will use the KM5D.

Beautiful set and beautiful colors!

A couple of days ago I was really a bit shocked when I switched from the 50mm Zeiss to the 100mm Minolta (F/2) - the colors are so different! But I love them!

TFS!

Great series of photos.
It remind us of how greath results the 7D gives.
Processing these photos in lightroom is so fast...

Agree. I had 5D about 1 year (2006-2007) and I still like Minolta colours very much.

lovely shots and (especially) colors.
I have an old A700 somewhere. Maybe I ought to dust that off too

I still have my original Minolta 5D, the sensor has a purple blob - so i had to buy 2 used body's to get a full functional one (got the for a realy low price) - now i have 2 chargers and 5 battery's too.
I'll try to take a few pictures with it tomorrow (i still have 50% of my images from Italy waiting for processing).
