This tree was certainly hugged by the Ledeboer family who brought this tree from the US to the Netherlands, as indicated on this information sign:

Dynax7d, Sony 70-300mmG at 750mm, f/4.5, 1/4000s, ISO800

at the moment it has a height of about 35 m and a diameter of about 7.5 m and is considered to be the largest tree of this type in the Netherlands:

I agree with brettania, both shots look overexposed, the first one just a little bit but the second so much that it ruins the shot for me.

Both look over-exposed on my monitor, also #2 was at ISO 1600 when I see no reason for that.
