That tree on #2 had a little bit of hug too much ;)
I'm noise-blind. And noise-about-noise-deaf too ... |   BTW, Dyxum Weekly Exhibitions don't grow on trees ...

Not sure this is the right sort of hugging - isn't ivy bad for trees? Good for photographs though...


I've taken so many pics of this tree (and posted it here before), but here it is again to mark my obsession with it!


As you can see from this side-shot, this tree has had a hard life and badly needs hugging...

One of my favourite Australian trees - the Jacaranda. We have quite a few lining the streets in Perth. They look great in spring/summer when in flower:
