Great to see the pictures of this meeting, and looking forward to see (much) more.

Leo, do I see a Leica M3 with a 90 mm (or other long-ish) lens on it?

And Bob, that "gold" Contax looks nice, great stuff for the film challenge.

Simon, I especially like your AA B&W's as well as the staircases. Only in 11 you have to clone out two annoying dust bunnies (left top) but after that they're perfect.
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Great set Simon - I must warn viewers that they can expect some very similar themes cropping up in this thread over the next few days, but Simon has set the bar pretty high..

Damn and blast! Missed them! My own fault for getting excited and trying to process all the pics after midnight once Mrs T had hit the hay. Those two are my favourites too, I had to loiter around that book stand for a few minutes awaiting the right people to approach it. I think the cashiers were ready to kick me out for taking pics so grabbed and ran. The one from above just fell out nicely.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's pics. Bob, Leo and Jet, I trust you had a good day today around London - beautiful weather for a stroll.

Excellent series Simon - although cheeky stealing that staircase shot before the other ten of us have a chance to post our versions

I do particularly like #2 and #9 and the spiral staircase.

And a couple of quick shots on the laptop to return the favour
(or in ship terms, I'm returning the shot that came whistling over my bows)
(think I managed several candids of every person in the group )

1. This is the matching pair to your #7

2. This is the matching shot for #11

Hi Folks,

This set is really making me wish I'd been able to make the trip; some cracking images already and some new faces to put names to as an added bonus!

Suffice to say I will be posting some images from our 'weekend out' but, I fear, nothing to touch the grand days out you have just had.

Hope everyone got home okay and best regards, Neil.
My Mantra: "Comment on other's work as you would wish to have yours commented upon". Go on - it's fun!
