I found another group shot. Similar, better light.

Inspired by B/w treatment of Fred_S, I will try that too.

Time for some moving pictures:

Really happy with the opening scene, the rest is fine but not that good.

This thread keeps getting better, both B&W and colour.
And I like the movie as well Addy, gives a good impression of some of the highlights of the day.

After coming down from MAS we walked towards the historic harbour cranes, still enough to see along the way

peg14: Across the water

peg15: "Ancient" office building, soon to be demolished (low energy efficiency and loads of asbest)

peg16: Reflection of MAS

peg17: Dok'n dine dingy

peg18: And finally some harbour cranes

Yes, it still looks sharp and focusses just fine.

I brought my Leica M240 to try with Pieter's Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4 - but first a few pictures with my own Voigtländer Ultron 28/2.0.

AAL06

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Ultron 28/2.0

AAL07

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Ultron 28/2.0

AAL008

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Ultron 28/2.0

I am really happy with the Ultron, 28mm is my favorite focal length and this Ultron is sharp with a rendering I like. But I am longing for something wider, so I tried Pieter's Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4.

AAL09 Straight up it looks good, but what is that to the left?

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4

AAL10 This looks much better, no really noticeable color cast

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4

AAL11 I think I can see a little color cast on the right

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4

AAL12 And here the colorcast is there in full glory

Leica M240 / Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21/4

AAL13 And now it is gone

I'll take my time to go thru this hole thread tomorrow.
I did try to have a look at the photographs and i've seen some great shots, that deserve some better comments than this short one.
I was a bit wary of the moisture into the air on the MAS, but it came out better than expected. And we should remember the famous painting: London in the fog, don't we?

Addy, indeed "unedited" the color skopar 21/4 isn't too good on an M240 (or even a A7 series camera), it gives darker and magenta corners/sides. But using the Lightroom profile with vignetting correction takes good care of the darker areas and creating a big radial filter with -10 temp and -33 tint takes care of most of the colour cast. I still need to thoroughly test this method on an even white or grey surface at several different apertures but sofar this has made all my photo's certainly more presentable. And on my M246M just using the profile/vignetting correction is enough, no problems with colour cast (obviously ).

You might ask Micholand about the slightly bigger color skopar 21/3.5, he has an M11 so he might be able to tell you about darker/magenta corners of that one.
