As usual, you're correct. It is a Von der Decken's hornbill

Some nice finds Addy. I had the white beauty (AL-41) only partly hidden in the trees.

Nice bird photo's Addy, both the 400 mm as well as the 200 mm shots.

The last one Da30 is an intriguing photo Leo

I scraped the barrel once more to keep you guys company

peg38: Lion food. I'm only half kidding, on the left you can just see a lock and edge of a door, on the other side is a small hallway with another door to the Lion's den. So they better keep these doors securely locked to avoid a disaster

peg39: A turtle sticking its head above water

peg40: The aquarium room

38 & 39: A7Rii + FE70-300G
40: A7ii + Tamron FE28-200 Di III RXD

You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Thanks Pieter! Da 30 was taken through broken glass to give it more 'character'.

Like your 'blue lagoon' of the aquarium!

Not yet scraping the barrel but I think I've come to the end of another most enjoyable meet with these shots:

Da 31 Wasbar

This combination of launderette and restaurant is new to me. It doesn't seem very appealing to me ...

The final shoot out:

I can tell you (from experience), that only the Eiffeltower doesn't complain about its photos,
Never too skinny, or too fat, or too tall or too small.

Nice portraits Leo
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken
