Nice Bob, it's great to see the same walk through different eyes (or should I say a different lens? )
I like your curious birds and never saw the bicycle of b14.

p9: Conga line and a rusty dancer

A7 + M-Summicron 50/2 DR

p10: Quay, towers and bridge

A7 + MC Rokkor 17/4

p11: Ghosts on the bridge (you can see the making of this shot in b13)

NEX6 + E18-105/4

The next morning we made a walk in the area behind the Media Park until it was time to pick up the cells from the clinic

p12: A strong resemblance to a model railway

A6000 + E18-105/4

p13: Dom silhouette from the foot bridge across the tracks

A6000 + E70-300 G

Not at the end yet

Bob and Pieter, you've certainly had a very fruitful DM for 2. Some wonderful images including familiar 'postcard' views of the cathedral and bridge, but many unfamiliar views that round out the place very nicely.
Some of the night shots (p.11. b.12) and the golden light shots (p.21) are very fine.

I was only there once in 1970 on a specific mission to visit the legendary Photokina Exhibition where I spent a whole day being blown away/inspired by what was on show.

Thanks for sharing your pics from your DM. The many different subjects appeal to me and keeps me coming back. What I notice in the last two batches is the difference in white balance, see the (I think) juvenile buzzard. A matter of personal preference?

Thanks for the ID on the bird, I'm not a birder at all but we both thought it was juvenile based on the slightly fluffy appearance of the feathers.

Re. WB I had my camera on AWB and warmed them up slightly in LR to how I remember the light at the time (I know, that's tricky). I don't know if Bob used AWB and/or what he did in PP but his pictures are warmer vs. what I remember. But it was early morning (around 9:30) with the sun still pretty low so I might have left mine too cool.
