Again, we stopped at a fantastic place for photography, so hard to select just a few shots to post The recent rain gave lots of dynamics to the river.
When we drove by the next day, the water level was much lower again.

Lots of people. F86 Looks great, but the number of people detracts from the image. Is it simply because it is a popular spot for tourists?

Thanks, guys
Like Mestari and Jadom, I felt that too many people in landscape shots are distracting. So, I cloned out most of them, or I used multiple layers where I chose which part of the layers to use.

D62 The water in the river Sligachan was high...

D63 .. and streaming

D64 .. and the landscape is spectacular...

D654 ...And the Sligachan Bridge beautiful

D65 The bridge

D66 The monument (with people )

D67 The dive

The tourist guy told a legend where somebody put his head in the river Sligachan and then something good happened. In short, enough reason to stick your head in the river.

The last stop for this day was the Fairy Pools.
It's a long stream of a small river with fairy-tail-like falls.

D68 The Fairy-pools

D69 And closer by

The challenge is that the most beautiful waterfalls are the furthest away
and halfway through the walk, the rain returned in full force.
We tried to continue but gave up after a whole day of actual rain experience.
So we only got overview pictures and small falls at the start.

D70 (not so) small set of falls

D80 The river continues...

D81 ..and looking left and right you were always surprised by small nice views

It was back to the apartment for a meal to get op at 6 for a sun-rise walk to Quiraing

Late, but now for D61

It goes:'When Josie comes home
So bad
She's the best friend we ever had
She's the raw flame
The live wire
She prays like a roman
With her eyes on fire'
