p77 for me. But all wonderful.
Domien, your colourful waterfront at Portree regularly featured in the monthly YT programme, Photography Online, which is based on the Isle. (They took this year off to re-organise themselves). The buildings were the subject of focus comparisons between different makes of cameras. This DM is coming close to being the best of all DMs IMHO. |

As Domien and Pieter mentioned, teh rain had an impact on the new day.
In the Portree harbour it was almost impossible to keep the lens front dry, but colours look much better indeed . A Dutch saying: klereweer is kleurenweer ;-) F58 F59 With raindrops on teh lens F60 F61 The other and less famous side of the Portree harbour F62 The 'castle', or what's left of it... (wider view of D46) Next, some ship wrecks, but not in this harbour |

A most interesting armchair tour of Skye, thoroughly enjoyed being dry and warm in front of the computer.
Thanks guys for putting your bodies and your gear on the line to capture these cold, wet scenes for us. |

Thanks for the remarks and comments. They keep us going...
As Fred already mentioned: we were strangely attracted to place 'where ships come home to die' (Salty dog, Procol Harem). We found several. D48 the yard D49 Girl Josie D50 NoName r D51 D52 luckily the ship was moored D53 NoName D54 The usual crap in such places D55 luckily the crew was nearby D56 This all happened in a place where we could also have seen this I must stop here. Both Fred and Pieter are far better in these kinds of places. |

Nice impression of Carbost Bay, Fred.
Light and color worked well in F68 And I even found some good ones in the IR-section. It seems the IR adds to the landscape part of the shots (F76, F77) |
