Thanks for kicking it of Fred.
You could consider a next participant's presentation order 'from small to large', would have confused me as much as your fRtL approach.

We had great weather, great company, fun conversation, finally seeing the faces whose texts you so long red. I love Dyxunm meetings.

D01 As a starter, I have to show you this Sunstarcontrail shot to give an idea of both weather and the ubiquitous effort to photograph something original

D03 And (of course) we found the answer to all questions .....

D04 ... and wisdom in general....

'I knew the words.
But not in this order...
An order that touched me'

D05 ..and things one can do with books....

D06... and of course: human mistakes

(HA. There's a free parking spot)

Enough corny captions for now

Great start Fred and Domien, looking forward to many more.

It was nice to see so many people and meet two more Dyxum members I hadn't met before. Thanks to Dick for helping find a nice tour that didn't overlap too much with 3 weeks ago and found some more photo spots that we didn't have time for then.

The light was indeed nice at times, but also quite harsh so PP isn't too simple to show something reasonable. Monochrome conversion (like Domien's 03 - 06) might be a good idea for some of mine as well.

But first a few in colour:

peg01: in case you had any doubts where we went

peg02: we also met a survivor of the Napoleontic wars

peg03: he "modernised" his horse, and can proudly show photos (or paintings?) of some of the battles he participated in

peg04: something fishy, keeping Leo in mind

peg05: interesting history about the Calvinistic church and Bible translation, Dordrecht was the seat of the Dutch government in the early 17th century, before it was moved to The Hague

01, 02, 04, 05: A7ii + OM Zuiko 135/2.8
03: A7Rii + FE28/2
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Very busy week for me, also have to work the weekend. Hope to find some time to upload a few pictures of 'my beloved' Dordrecht. The video-impression will take a little longer. But as the Dutch say: "what's in the barrel won't become acid".
Quit a lot of ALPHA and NEX gear, a nice collection of Sigma lenses, Dynax and M42 stuff, Gitzo's, Visico's and lots of video-equipment

Ok, some pictures I made. I took my macro with me in order to make some shots of vegetation.

The dirt spot is on my sensor

The hair is not on my sensor!

Maybe I'll post later on some other pictures...

I enjoyed the day. Good company, nice to see lots of various gear which I'd love to have in my hands some time.

It was a lovely autumn day that I enjoyed a lot. Meeting and walking with the people behind the names, nice.
Some great shots are already posted, interesting what others see and shoot. Here some of mine.

Thanks for the group shot Fred.

Good start all! But too much honour for me. I am not used to be so much at that side of the camera

I like your monochrome approach Domien, and you've captured those ches pieces very weel through the window.

Pieter's peg02 and pego3 show this happy character very well.

Harm is adding a nice touch with the macro's with HVB-02 and 03 in particula (but there seems to bit of dust on the sensor/lens?)

Peter's (kobra64) K3 and K5 arte the standouts of his first set to me.

I'll start just on chronological order.

First a few I shot on my wlak from the parkinbg to our meeting point.

FS-2 Autumn colours immediately outside the parking

FS-3 A difficult to translate Dutch pun

FS-4 Wildlife

FS-5 Some characteristic facades

FS-6 And the famous Dordrecht rhyme in daylight, at the start of our real walk

FS-7 Dordrecht, a bit like Venice

I went for an all manual focus day (apart from some IR shots) with some Rokkors and my Oktoberfest lens.

#2-4 are with my Oktoberfest lens: The Primpoplan 1.9/58mm.
And #3-7 with Rokkor MD 3.5/28mm. Both on A7R2.
