Great day, a bit wet.

Here's the big hero and organiser (grubeater) who brought "test" bodies from Sony Netherlands (an A500, A550 and A850)

This is a jpg, almost straight from the cam (only levels and resized/sharpened) of the A550. Lens was 100/2.8 macro @ 2.8

Which raw converter can do A550 raws, LR2.5 doesn't do them yet

(Much) more will follow hereunder later, from me as well as from the others!
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

No, it's a Minolta 35/2.

Who took the photo of us three Dutch One Prime guys (Dopol, Pegelli and me)?

Great shot Pieter!

I like the fact that the man in the second row is barely in sight, but is looking at you. Nice compo an DOF. The shootingconditions were bad, but you made it work! Very well done!
Best regards, Dave

I had a great day
but hopefully next time in a little better condition

After a short try with all my lenses I did fall-back on my beloved 24/2.8 but tried not to include the complete park in every picture .

(It seems to be a family problem... not checking iso settings :x)
All pictures are shot in JPEG and some are adjusted on the black/white curves and all are resized. No other adjustments are made.

Interesting place the Openluchtmuseum, visited a few years ago when I and my family were op vacantie near Doorn.

Are the tram seats still super hard wooden? (only worse are older trams in Amsterdam IMO)

And a few more

The 'animal part'

you wouldn't send your dog out

and old races of cows

A Groninger Blaarkop

two 'lakenvelders'

(no I'm not into cow breeding. My parents filled my head with enormous amounts of useless stuff like this)

Yes I had some monks too

concentrated singing

and hands on a black habit always make a good subject

here some of my pics in the "standard upload format". all are shot in RAW (ISO 200) with the a900/CZ24-70 combo, most of them with some amount of flash. images are processed in Lr 2.5 (exposure, white balance, adjustment of highlights and blacks where that seemed appropriate. after processing the RAW files were exported into jpegs with a long edge of 1000 px and a surrounding canvas added in Ps 4.

Sorry I missed out.
You brought a bit of home back to me. Sppok's no. 4 and Duur's No.6 shot is a buiding they took brick-by-brick from our town and rebuild it over there.

Good stuff sofar, I like everybodies different "take" on the same environment.

Here's some of the actors in the Museum, all very friendly and dedicated volunteers making it more than just a bunch of "old stuff" but really making it come alive:

The farmers:

A700 + 200/2.8HS

A850 + 200/2.8HS
Unfortunately my close-up of the farmer's lady did turn out all misfocussed, darn Sony

The singing monks:

A850 + 200/2.8HS

A850 + 200/2.8HS

The "scharensliep" (person who goes around the streets sharpening knives and scissors)

A850 + 200/2.8 HS, 1/25th sec handheld, SSS on FF rocks!

And the guys and gals who keep the trams running:

A700 + 200/2.8HS

A550 + 100/2.8 macro

A850 + 200/2.8HS

A850 + 200/2.8HS

A850 + 200/2.8HS

As you can see I remained quite faithful to my one-prime octoberfest challenge

More to come !

somehow something in the last pic seems out of place - i don't think that at the time that the uniform was designed and those trams running that modern communication equipment was available :-)

therefore i like it the most from the series.
