It's seems the sun, moon and stars are lining up for another Dyxum meeting.

Sunday March 17, 2019 in Haarlem. Time and place to meet still tbd.

At Leo's request we'll make it a Meyer Görlitz meeting combined with day prime for those willing/able, but all lenses, zoom or prime, are obviously welcome. Day prime that week is 70 - 76 mm, a focal length in for which I don't have any primes, just zoom ends. But I'm sure some other Meyer devotees will bring some lenses to try out

Participants so far are (some still tentative)

but many more are welcome, so sign up below and I'll put you on the list.

We'll also use this thread to agree a place/time to meet and report equipment that we will (or can) take along for others to try.

The 17th is fine to me (my calendar was more filled than i expected).
It's a good suggestion to use or Meyer Görlitz or participate into the Day Prime week thread.
I'll try to use a few of my manual lenses (i only have a few MD lenses left) and a manual 85mm Samyang. It hasn't seen much usage in 2018 - time to change that.
This 'll slow me down and that's good.
The car-pool idea is fine to me.

That will be 7.5 cm f1.5 Biotar, 75 mm f/1.9 Primoplan and 2.5/75 mm P-Rokkor for Day Prime. Not half as many Meyers as Leo, but enough for the job.

Bummer.. My son is having a knee operation in that week and gets out of the hospital probably the Friday before. He will be at home blocking the sofa and is not allowed to walk for the first 3 weeks. I will be on nurse duty for sure that weekend.

I happen to have quite a few Meyers in that range so I'll see what I can do for both E- and A-mount users.

That's too bad, we'll miss you (and Marcel). Can't Marcel do the Florance Nightingale duties for one day?

Since I don't have any primes in the 70-76 region I'll bring my FE24-70 and FE70-300 to have two qualifying zoom ends. But I'm certainly interested to test some exotic Meyers in the right range, so thanks for the offer Leo.

For the rest I'm bringing my Voigtländers 12/5.6 (for the hofjes) and 65/2 (for the eventual macro/close-up shot). After that I'll see what else fits in the bag.

I don't know which hofjes Pieter but think I will bring the 10/5.6 and 16-35 ZA on la-ea3 and as many meyers as I can hold in the backpack. I will trial-fit to verify possibilities.

That is when the boss doesn't ask me to travel on 17th.

Yes.. totally in his DNA.. although..
He is a KNVB referee so he messed it up the first time on the soccerfield.
Second time at Carnaval - slippery floor and to much alcohol.
Third now is taking a wrong step on the stairs.. now his (cross)ligaments are totally ripped. So I am not really sure if it is all together just DNA.. or also a bit of bad luck involved.

Maybe.... I must wait and see.
Tuesday 12th afternoon is the operation. 4 days hospital if everything goes right 5-6 days when there are complications. It is going to be a last minute decision.
